Auditions: The New Tampa Players will hold auditions for the musical Oliver! at 5:30 p.m. Sunday and 7:30 p.m. Monday-Tuesday at University Area Community Complex, 14013 N 22nd St. Needed are males and females ages 8-80. Be prepared to sing 16 bars of a Broadway tune. Please do not wear flip-flops. Performance dates are July 27-Aug. 5. Call 813 386-6687.

Local art: The works of north Tampa artist Terry Klaaren will be on display through Thursday at the Museum of Science and Industry, 4800 E Fowler Ave. Paintings of unpaved roads and their surroundings will be on display in the second-floor planetarium hall gallery.
