Comedian and singer in concert May 10

For its final show of the season, Brookridge Entertainment will present singer and comedian David Glickman followed by singer Jeanne Alexis at 7 p.m. Thursday at Brookridge Clubhouse, 8150 Hampton St. Doors open at 6:30 p.m.
Tickets are $15 and will be available at the door if not sold out in advance.

Movies on current events this month
The Hernando County Green Party will host a series of free films on current issues at 6 p.m. Tuesdays through May 22, at the Spring Hill Branch/Harold G. Zopp Memorial Library, 9220 Spring Hill Drive.
The films include:
- May 8, Iraq for Sale - The War Profiteers
- May 15, Wal-Mart - The High Cost of Low Prices
- May 22, Fahrenheit 9/11. This film will start at 5:30 p.m. It is rated R and is for ages 18 and older.
The purpose in revisiting Michael Moore's film is claims that the movie has inaccuracies. Anyone who can point out these inaccuracies is encouraged to attend.
