Three people were shot in the course of three hours Saturday afternoon in North Tampa.

Authorities said it was too early to determine whether the incidents were related.

The first shooting occurred about 4 p.m. at La Rasquachita Grill, 5602 N Armenia Ave.

The victim, a Hispanic man, was at the restaurant with friends when a man came in, pulled a gun and shot him several times in the abdomen, reports said. The gunman and another man then fled in a late '90s, grayish-colored Ford pickup.

The two are described as Hispanic men in their mid 20s, one has a thin build and wore a gray and white striped shirt and dark blue pants. He was armed with a black semiautomatic pistol.

The other man is husky.

The victim, whose name was not released, was rushed to St. Joseph's Hospital, where he underwent surgery and was listed in critical condition.

No one else was injured.

About 7 miles north of La Rasquachita Grill, two more people were shot at Top Nail nail salon, 12313 Nebraska Ave., one critically.

Police said Warren Samuel Pink, 29, his girlfriend and her toddler went to a fish market next door to the nail salon when the girlfriend got a threatening phone call from her baby's father, Delroy Dyer, 37.

Pink went to the nail salon to confront Dyer of 2610 Annie St. in Tampa. They argued, and Pink shot him.

The bullet went through Dyer's chest and into the arm of customer Vickie Renee Brown, 49, of 2322 Colby Lane in Tampa.

Pink, his girlfriend and the toddler drove away. But deputies who were across the street heard the shots and followed them to College Park Apartments off 15th Street, where the pair surrendered. Deputies also recovered a weapon.

Brown was treated and released at St. Joseph's Hospital while Dyer remained in critical condition, said Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office spokeswoman Debbie Carter.

Pink of 12933 Tribute Drive in Riverview is charged with being a felon in possession of a firearm and fleeing and eluding.
