TAMPA - Police delayed the Zephyrhills High School prom Saturday night in a Raymond James Stadium suite after an anonymous phone call warned that a senior student who had made earlier threats to pull a Virginia Tech-style shooting at the prom was there, police said.

The student, who was upset over a breakup with his girlfriend and also threatened to kill his girlfriend and her family, was not there after all, police said.

The lockdown delayed the prom for about 30 minutes, authorities said.

There is a warrant for the caller, so the Pasco County Sheriff's Office and Zephyrhills police were searching for him late Saturday.

Man dies after he's Tasered by deputies

SEMINOLE - The Pinellas Sheriff's Office was investigating the death of a 33-year-old man who died Saturday morning after being Tasered three times by Pinellas County sheriff's deputies.

Daniel Bradley Young struggled with police after deputies tried to remove him from the front yard of a house on 120th Street. Neighbors had called authorities after seeing Young acting suspicious.

Authorities said Young's cause of death would not be known until toxicology reports were returned.

Young has a lengthy criminal history that includes several charges of driving under the influence and one of armed robbery.
