BROOKSVILLE - Hernando deputies are asking for the public's help to identify two suspects wanted in connection with the kidnapping and robbery of a 44-year-old woman on March 30.
The woman was standing outside Miss Kitty's Hilltop Lounge on Broad Street about 10 p.m. when she was approached by two men and a woman in an older-model blue four-door vehicle, according to sheriff's deputies.
The woman was forced into the car and taken to the Chevron gas station on N Broad Street where she was threatened at knifepoint to withdraw money from an automated-teller machine. She was then taken to Spring Hill Cemetery on Ft. Dade Avenue where she was hit in the face and left behind, reports state.
Surveillance images from the Chevron show the female suspect is white with brown hair pulled back in a ponytail, wearing a low-cut brown shirt. One of the two black male suspects is tall and wearing a black shirt. He has short black hair on top of his head with the sides shaved clean. The video did not show the third suspect.
To see the surveillance images, visit the Hernando County Sheriff's Office Web site at www.hernandosheriff.org/alerts. Anyone with information is asked to call the Crime Stoppers at (352) 797-8477.
