A note to our online readers

Dear tampabay.com readers: We wanted to give you a heads up on some changes coming early next week: - A new way to get around: You’ll be able to see everything that’s inside tampabay.com by rolling your mouse over the blue navigation links at the top of every page.
- A new “News” section, where we’ll update the day’s most important stories around the clock.
- The redesigned news section will share the look and feel of tampabay.com, but you’ll still find a list of stories from that day’s St. Petersburg Times, as well as an image of the day’s front page.
So what’s the difference between tampabay.com and our newspaper site, sptimes.com? tampabay.com is our portal to everything Tampa Bay. It combines news and information from the Times, our free daily tbt*/Tampa Bay Times, and you – the stories and opinions you share through itsyourtimes.com and our blogs. tampabay.com emphasizes local over global, and we want to provide you with the most comprehensive listings of things to do in the area. Now, there is one thing that’s not changing: our commitment to delivering you accurate information when you want it. We hope you’ll take a moment next week to tell us what you think. E-mail us at comments@tampabay.com. Christine Montgomery is Managing Editor/tampabay.com.
