Neil Simon's newest comedy 45 Seconds from Broadway will be presented by Stage West Community Playhouse, 8390 Forest Oaks Blvd., Spring Hill. The 16th annual Mothers Day Native American Pow Wow by the Sumter Native American Family Tribe will be held from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. May 11 and 12 and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. May 13 at Withlacoochee Park, 12449 Withlacoochee Blvd., Dade City. The festival features drumming, dancing, arts, crafts, children's games, musicians, the West Wind Riders marching horse band and other Native American events. Admission is $2.

The Cotee River Seafood Festival & Bright House Networks Boat Show will be held from 5 to 11 p.m. Friday, 10 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday in and around Sims Park in New Port Richey. Friday features live music; Saturday and Sunday events include live music, fishing and boating demonstrations, Miss Daisy boat tours, games for kids, food and beverage vendors and nautical and nature themed hand-crafted items. Admission is free, but a $2 donation will be requested.
The New Dawn Singers will perform a Mothers' Day Celebration matinee on May 13 at The Palace Grand, 275 Della Court (off U.S. 19 a quarter mile north of the Pasco-Hernando county line), Spring Hill. A DVD of Laurent Petitgirard's first opera, Joseph Merrick, The Elephant Man, will be shown at 1:30 p.m. May 13 at the Leepa-Rattner Museum of Art video room, 600 Klosterman Road, Tarpon Springs. Free.
Seniors Are Someone Special (SASSY) will present four hours of live entertainment in honor of mothers from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Tuesday in Gulf View Square Mall center court. Entertainers include Tommy Russo, Jaime Perlow, Dennis Boff and Stan Prinston. The "Mother of the Year" will be announced.
The Faith United Methodist Church will hold its annual Corn Festival from noon to 5 p.m. on May 19 at the church, 12128 State Road 52, Hudson. The day includes Crimson and a country-western trio, crafts, the Truck Stop Ministry, an apple pie baking contest and door prizes. Dinner of home-grown corn and ham is $7 for adults, $4 for ages 5 through 12; and family tickets for $20.
