Tampa Bay Angels

The Tampa Bay Angels are forming two scout teams 16U 2009, 2010 grads. They will play tournaments around the state and have a baseball camp with many college coaches from around the state in June. Contact Chris Banks at 727-542-6245 for more information.

Summer Classic

College Baseball Advisors will be holding their fourth annual Summer Classic at Naimoli Complex June 22-24. Many College coaches from around the state will be in attendance. A college recruiting seminar will also be held on Friday night. Please contact Chris Banks at 727-542-6245.

St. Petersburg RBI

The league for players 13-19 years old will hold registration from 9 a.m.-noon Saturday at Oliver Field at Campbell Park. Participants must have a birth certificate, proof of a physical, two photo IDs and $45 registration fee. For information, call John at 374-6987.

Florida State Collegiate League

Roughriders

Baseball camps

USF baseball coach Lelo Prado will offer day camps for youths ages 7-18 June 11-15, 18-22 and July 9-13 at Red McEwen Field. Two camps will be in Brandon at South Brandon Little League on July 16-20 and July 23-27. All of these camps will be in session from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. and will cost $180 for the week. Shorecrest

At Largo Golf Course, Will Quinlan of Tampa aced the 155 yard 4th hole on April 17 using a 9-iron. And Ron Rice of Clearwater aced the 90 yard 11th on May 1 also using a 9-iron.
