This Heat has a smooth beat

The theme of this year's Tropical Heatwave is Tiki Tango, but that doesn't mean the music will be limited to island beats. As always, the more than 30 bands spread across several Ybor City venues represent a diverse sonic range. The Cuban Club at 2010 Avenida Republica de Cuba is the hub of the action, which begins at 6 p.m. Saturday. Disney skates in

Skating Disney characters take to the rink today through Sunday for Disney On Ice, A Disneyland Adventure. A river of fun

The Cotee River Seafood Festival and Boat Show brings lots of both to downtown New Port Richey today through Sunday. Highlights include boat tours on the river; Flower Power '60s Music Night beginning at 5 tonight; a Corvette show Saturday; Blues by the River on Saturday; and music all day Sunday. Going to the dogs

This is the last weekend to see Wolf to Woof: The Story of Dogs at the Florida International Museum, 244 Second Ave. N, St. Petersburg. A nighttime prowl
