Sheila and George Fenno recently opened Four Paws Dog Day Camp and Kennel at 13385 Montour St., off Sunshine Grove Road, west of Brooksville.

The facility does not use crates or pens. All dogs play and stay together throughout the day and are supervised 24 hours a day. Sheila Fenno has more than 15 years of kennel and breeding experience.

All dogs are required to have current shots and must pass a socialization test before being accepted.

Jacobs is manager of clinical trials and Ellenwood serves as clinical research coordinator at FCI.

Chick-fil-A will have a box onsite to collect hygiene supplies, snacks, new clothes, DVDs and CDs, in order to make a care package that the restaurant will send along with cards thanking the troops.

In addition, from 5 to 8 p.m., children will be able to make their own thank-you cards for the troops as well as meet members of the local Army recruitment office, who will be bringing their Army Hummer to the restaurant.
