Library to show "Million Dollar Baby": 2 p.m., Lykes Memorial Library, 238 Howell Ave., Brooksville. Directed by and starring Clint Eastwood as a hardened trainer/manager who works with a determined woman, played by Hilary Swank, in her attempt to establish herself as a boxer. The 2004 film is rated PG-13. It won four Oscars, including Best Picture, Best Director for Eastwood, Best Actress for Swank and Best Supporting Actor for Morgan Freeman. There is no cost to attend and light refreshments will be served. 540-6391.

Ride of Silence: Bicyclists are to meet at 6:30 p.m. at the Suncoast Trail off Cortez Boulevard, just west of the Suncoast Parkway, Brooksville. The ride will start at 7 p.m. and travel about 10 miles to the Hernando County Government Center at 20 N Main St. The Hernando County Sheriff's Office will provide an escort. This is a free ride aimed at raising the awareness of motorists, police and elected officials that cyclists have a legal right to public roadways. Steve Diez, at 754-4057.

Belknap Jr., Harv Berman, Norman R. Freyer, Gail D. Rose and Clarence Williamson. There is also an exhibit of African art, courtesy of Elaine Carnette of Brooksville, along with semi-precious jewelry designed and crafted by Lynda Spencer Ryan.
