Brian Ganz is a St. Petersburg favorite. The Washington area pianist has been playing recitals at the Museum of Fine Arts since 1985, and he keeps getting asked back, always a good thing for an artist. He gives another performance Sunday afternoon at his regular venue, the Marly Room of the Museum of Fine Arts. As usual, Ganz's program will include some Chopin, the Op. 59 Mazurkas and Op. 10 Etudes, as well as a pair of romantic standards by Liszt, Consolations and selections from Six Etudes After Paganini, plus Debussy's Estampes. Ganz will also play works off the beaten path by American composers Edward MacDowell and Charles Griffes. The recital is at 2 p.m. Sunday at the museum, 255 Beach Drive NE, St. Petersburg. $8, $15.
