St. Andrew's Ukrainian Catholic Church, 8064 Weeping Willow St., will host its annual spring picnic at noon Sunday. First Baptist Church, 420 Howell Ave., is accepting free registrations for children entering first through sixth grades for vacation Bible school. The program will be from 9 a.m. to noon June 11-15. The theme is "Game Day Central." The church will host a free Bible school Family Fun Day with games, slides, a dunking booth, snow cones, hamburgers, hot dogs and drinks from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. June 9. Call 796-6791.Faith Evangelical Presbyterian Church, 200 Mount Fair Ave., is accepting registrations for its seven-week summer program for children in second through eighth grades. The program, which begins June 11, runs 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. weekdays through July. It combines recreation, fellowship and sports. The cost is $50 to $70 per week, and $10 for each sibling. First United Methodist Church, 9344 Spring Hill Drive, will host summer camp for children in first through fifth grades from 6:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday from May 31 through Aug. 17. There will be Bible lessons, singing, crafts, puppets, theme weeks, outdoor recreation and water days. Registration forms are available at the welcome center and in the church office. Call 683-2600.
Nativity Lutheran Church, 6363 Commercial Way, is accepting registrations for vacation Bible school. Registration is free until June 1. After that, it will be $5 per child.
