Spring game-breakers: East Bay wide receiver Andre Simpson caught the winning touchdown off a deflection. ...Riverview running back John Green scored both touchdowns to lead the Sharks. Samir Baker led the Eagles with two rushing touchdowns and recorded three interceptions for the Eagles.

Did you know?: East Bay safety Mike Roberti left the field on a stretcher after colliding with two Riverview players. Coach Brian Thornton said Roberti should return to practice soon. Brandon only returned four varsity players last year but this year the Eagles have more than 40 returning.

Audible 1: "The tight end ran to the wrong corner of the end zone but (quarterback Rex Ballenger) threw it all the way across the field, " East Bay coach Brian Thornton said. Simpson adjusted and made the best of a botched play."
