'Round the county in 12 days'

A team-by-team look at Pasco County football:
Coach: Tom Fisher
Last year: The Bulldogs went 8-3, losing 22-14 to Eustis in the postseason.
District: Class 3A, District 8 (Gulf, Pasco, Hudson, Wiregrass Ranch, Sunlake)
Did you know?: When the Bulldogs went undefeated in 1994, Fisher called the spring scrimmage "a terrible spring." He went on to tell his players that spring they would be lucky to win three or four games.
Breakout player: After getting a few touches last year as a back, former wide receiver Chris Henry is making the full transition to an every down back. His speed was explosive and he took the majority of the carries in Friday's scrimmage.
Who's back: Almost no one you would know. Zephyrhills lost 14 seniors, nine of them starters, seven of them two-way starters. Fisher has to rely on freshmen, first-time players and a handful of veterans.
What's new: Eight players on either side of the ball this year were not on the roster last year. Fisher is struggling to fill gaps, especially on his defensive line; he lost Sean Gray to a shoulder injury and Quentin Amos to injuries sustained in a car accident, but both are expected to start in the fall.
Spring revelation: "I am surprised that we need a lot of work, " Fisher said.
