Coach: Mark Buchanan (third season)
2006 record: 2-8
Key losses: OL Tim Summerlin.
Key returners: OL T.J. Connors, RB/PK Ethan Englebert, QB Blake Farver, OL Matt Head, FB/LB Lou Mason, QB Matt Oliphant, RB Darius Sabbides, RB Noah Smith.
Spring skinny: The Golden Eagles return a majority of their starters, including their backfield. In last week's spring game, IRC showed poise, coming back from an 18-0 halftime deficit to beat Orlando Agape Christian 21-18.
Key questions: After winning a combined six games the past two seasons, can the Golden Eagles turn the corner? Will running back Jonny Sitton return? Sitton, who rushed for five touchdowns in IRC's 63-62 victory over Calvary Christian last season, missed the spring because he is on an Olympic development soccer team.
Gamebreaker: Smith showed what he could do in the spring game, rushing for 64 yards on 13 carries and scoring once. He could stand out in backfield that will be run by committee.
