YMCA expands: A new aquatic center at the Bob Sierra Family YMCA will open to members Tuesday. The 28, 000-square-foot facility has an eight-lane competitive swimming pool with a 15-foot, three-tubed water slide and a zero-depth entry fun pool with a four-tiered water spray park for children. A public celebration begins at 4 p.m. on June 10. Call 813 962-3220.

Baseball: Tampa Boltz AAU baseball is moving up to age 9 and under. Three to four players are needed. The team plays at Forest Hills at Orange Grove Park, 9630 Orange Grove Drive. Call (813) 265-4842.

Baseball showcase: National Scouting Report will host a Gold Coast Baseball Showcase, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. June 13 at Wharton High, 20150 Bruce B. Downs Blvd. Professional scouts rate all players; top players are invited to advance to a regional showcase. A college recruiting session begins at 6 p.m. Call (813) 963-2028.

Basketball camp: Florida College will offer three sessions of its basketball camps. The first session is May 29-June 1 for players ages 13-19. The second session is June 11-14 for players ages 6-13. The third session will be June 25-28 for players ages 9-15. All sessions last from 9 a.m.-12 p.m. each day and cost $65. Call (813) 899-6789.

Basketball camp at Wharton: Wharton High, 20150 Bruce B. Downs Blvd., offers five sessions of basketball camp to students entering grades 2-8. Sessions are June 4-8, June 11-15, June 18-22, June 25-29 and July 9-13 for players of all levels. One session costs $125. Additional sessions cost $115. Call (813) 631-4710, ext. 234.

Basketball officials: The West Coast Officials Basketball Association will hold training camps for people interested in officiating basketball for the 2007-2008 season on June 8 and 9 at USF, 4202 E Fowler Ave. Call (813) 299-0410 or visit www.wcoafla.org.

Soccer: Five-on-five indoor soccer leagues for youth, adults and co-eds are being formed at Sports and Field, 2029 Arrowgrass Drive, Wesley Chapel. Also offered is training for players ages 8-18. Call (813) 948-5500.

Soccer at Black Watch: The U-15 Black Watch Falkirk boy's soccer team will hold tryouts at 11 a.m. June 2, 2 p.m. June 3 and 6 p.m. June 5 at the Black Watch field, 11111 N 30th St. Call (813) 310-8933.
