Holiday

Holiday United Church of Christ, 4826 Bartelt Road, offers a sermon by the Rev. Drew Willard on "The Great Spirit" at 10:30 a.m. Sunday to celebrate Pentecost. There is an adult Bible study at 9 a.m. on the second and fourth Sunday of each month, and children's Sunday school is at 10:30 a.m. every Sunday. Hudson

First United Methodist Church, 13123 U.S. 19, invites children to come to "Vacation Bible School, A Wild Ride through God's Word ... At Avalanche Ranch" June 4-8. New Port Richey

The Presbyterian Church of Seven Springs, 4651 Little Road, offers vacation Bible school from 6:15 to 8:30 p.m. each evening beginning July 15 through July 19. The Great Bible Reef is for children in kindergarten through fifth grade. Children will hear stories about Jesus, make crafts, learn tunes and play games. Faith Lutheran Church, 5443 Sunset Road, has changed its service times for the summer to one service at 10 a.m. beginning Sunday. This week Pastor Robert Steinke will preach on "One Lord, One Language, One People" as the congregation celebrates the Feast of Pentecost. Holy Communion will be served during the service. Memorial Day will be celebrated with a picnic on the church grounds after the service. There will be pony rides, a water slide and games.
