First Tee is accepting registrations

BROOKSVILLE
Registration for the First Tee of Brooksville youth golf summer camp program is being taken through June 15.
The camp is for children ages 7-17 and will be held June 19 to July 26 at the Quarry Golf Course, 800 John Gary Grubbs Blvd. The instructor will be golf pro Robert Buck.
Times are scheduled for 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays for ages 7-8 (target/par); 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesdays and Wednesdays for ages 9-12 (par); 9:30 to 11 a.m. Wednesdays and Thursdays for ages 13-17 (par/birdie); and 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Mondays and Fridays for eagle players.
The cost is $50, which includes the 2007 annual First Tee registration/membership. Call the course at 544-5485 or visit the Web site at www.thefirstteebrooksville.com.

The Hernando County Fair Association will have a flea market at 8 a.m. Saturday at the fairgrounds, 6436 S Broad St. For information, call 796-4552.

Elks lodge, Cub Scouts set Flag Day ceremony
Brooksville Elks Lodge 2582 will conduct a Flag Day ceremony at 2 p.m. June 10 at the lodge, 14494 Cortez Blvd.
Cub Scout Pack 459 will assist with the ceremony. A light lunch will be available. For information, call 596-2582.

Bike, stunt show to help humane society
Motorcycle Enthusiasts will host a fundraiser Stunt Show and Bike Show to benefit the Humane Society of the Nature Coast from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. June 10 at 5138 Commercial Way.
Registration for the bike show will start at 10 a.m. There will be bike washes, food and drinks. Attendees will also get a chance to see motorcycle stunt rider Todd Colbert.
Admission is free.

Frankie Dee, orchestra to perform on Sunday
The Frankie Dee New York Orchestra will perform from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday at VFW Post 10209, 15166 Spring Hill Drive.
The band performs Big Band sounds, swing, Latin, Frank Sinatra tunes and others.
Tickets are $9 and includes a bar drink and a chance to win a door prize.

Impressionist Natole headlines Aug. 11 show
Aripeka Elks Lodge 2520 will present a dinner show with Rich Natole on Aug. 11 at the lodge, 9135 Denton Ave.
Natole's repertoire includes hundreds of celebrity vocal and singing impressions.
