On Tuesday we warned of love bugs. Today, it's fire bugs. Three Clay County kids playing with fireworks have been arrested in connection with a May 23 blaze in northeast Florida that destroyed a $92, 000 house. The minors, who weren't named, each face a misdemeanor reckless burning of lands charge, according to the Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services.
In a separate case, a 16-year-old Jackson County boy was charged with intentional burning of lands, a felony. He's accused of throwing a homemade gasoline-filled bomb into a wooded area near Graceville. Both fires were put out quickly.
