'Maxim' to open Its idea of a hot vacation resort

The men's magazine Maxim is opening a resort in the Dominican Republic in October (
maximbungalows.com).
Situated at Cofresi Beach on the north coast, Maxim Bungalows will have 108 studio and one- and two-bedroom bungalows. Each will be equipped with plasma screen TVs, Wi-Fi and iHome audio. Studio bungalows will start at $413 a night; one-bedroom units at $752.
A second Maxim Bungalows is planned for early 2008 in Juan Dolio, on the south coast of the Dominican Republic.
Detour for the Tour de France
This year, the Tour de France race will start in London on July 7 with the prologue - a 4.9-mile time trial that starts by Trafalgar Square and passes Big Ben, the Houses of Parliament, Westminster Abbey and Buckingham Palace.
The next day, Stage 1 will take riders from the Mall, along the Thames, past the London Eye, St. Paul's Cathedral and the Tower of London.
