Eleven of the top 100 black-owned businesses in the nation are based in Florida, according to the annual tally in the June issue of Black Enterprise magazine. Michigan boasted the largest number (21) of businesses in the top 100 while Florida - dominated by auto dealerships - ranked ninth.
