Funny stuff: Neil Simon's comedy-farce Rumors continues matinees and evenings through July 8 at Show Palace Dinner Theatre, 16128 U.S. 19, Hudson. Shows are at 8 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays, 3 p.m. Sundays (doors open two hours before the show for cash bar and included buffet) and at 1:15 p.m. some Wednesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays (doors open at 11:30 a.m.). Boot scootin' sounds: The Hernando County Fine Arts Council's June Bandshell Bash will feature the country/rockabilly group Crabgrass Cowboys from 4 to 8 p.m. Saturday at the Hernando Park band shell. The concert is free and will also feature an antique car and hot rod show, sidewalk vendors and other activities. Call (352) 754-4788 for information.

All in the family: Centennial Opera Group will show a video of Gaetano Donizetti's Lucrezia Borgia, a tale of 16th century opulence and decadence, at 12:30 p.m. June 15 at Centennial Park Library, 5740 Moog Road, Holiday. The video features Dame Joan Sutherland in the title role. There also will be a discussion of the real life and times of that era, "Growing Up Borgia." Free.

A possible dream: Auditions for the musical Man of La Mancha will be held at 7 p.m. Sunday at Richey Suncoast Theatre, 6237 Grand Blvd., New Port Richey. Production dates are Sept. 6-23. Director is Tom Bronson. Roles are for 21 men and five female singers, dancers and actors.
