Co-Athletes of the Year : Innekia Reedy, Lakewood, Sr.
Why we picked her: Reedy used her speed and variety of juke moves to run past defenders, averaging more than 100 yards rushing per game. She also wreaked havoc on defense with an average of three sacks per game. In the county all-star game she ran for two touchdowns, including a 70-yard score to earn MVP honors.
Kquanise Byrd, Lakewood, Sr.
Why we picked her: Byrd, who was used in a variety of ways, racked up some eye-popping numbers. She averaged 100 yards passing and 80 receiving. It didn't stop there. On defense, she averaged two interceptions per game. Her all-around play was a big reason the Spartans advanced to the state semifinals.
Coach of the Year: Necole Tunsil, Lakewood
Tunsil helped the Spartans advance to their second straight final four in her last season as coach. She said she is stepping down to concentrate more on girls basketball.

Lakewood is a very good team but I think East Lake should get a mention when it comes to flag football. The lady Eagles posted an undefeated regular season including beating Lakewood twice, once for the PCAC championship.
