Man shot five times in drive-by shooting

TAMPA - One of the University area's most notorious apartment complexes was the scene of yet another shooting Saturday. About 10 a.m., as Tristan L. Green, 29, walked out of his Amberton Apartments home, a car drove up and the people inside shot him five times, said a Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office report. Green was taken to St. Joseph's Hospital, where he remained in critical condition Saturday night. Man found dead, possibly hit by car WIMAUMA - A Wimauma man, apparently struck by a vehicle, was found dead in the road Saturday. About 5:30 a.m., deputies found the body of Enrique Grimaldo Jr., 20, on W Lake Drive just south of Ruth Morris Road, said a Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office report. Grimaldo had been drinking Friday evening and was walking in the road when he was struck, the report said.
