Todd Boulanger has been promoted to his new position after 15 years with The Children's Home, a child-focused Tampa Bay area charity. At The Children's Home, Boulanger has been a primary alternate providing direct care to residential clients, Cottage Director, Program Services Director, Training and Quality Assurance Manager and Risk Management & Quality Assurance Manager. Boulanger earned a master's degree in education from the University of South Florida and is a certified Professional in Human Resources and a peer reviewer for the national Council on Accreditation.
Chief information officer, St. Petersburg Times
Tim Aston assumes his new role at the St. Petersburg Times after 10 weeks as manager of applications development. Previously, Aston was chief technology officer at the Hartford Courant, where he had 14 years of newspaper and online publishing experience. Aston also has worked for Travelers Insurance, Bank of America and the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Aston, who has a wife, Dawn, and a daughter, Natalie, 5, earned a bachelor's degree in natural resource conservation at the University of Connecticut and a master's degree in environmental planning at the University of Massachusetts.
Leah McBride was named graphic designer and marketing coordinator at Audio Visual Innovations Inc., of Tampa. McBride was a freelance designer in North Carolina.
Louis Miller is the recipient of the Gonzmart Family Ambassador of the Year Award. The award honors Tampa Bay area people who have contributed to the community and to the success of the hospitality industry in Tampa and Hillsborough County. Miller is executive director of Tampa International Airport and is chief executive for Tampa International, Peter O. Knight, Plant City and Vanderberg airports.
Lynn Eubanks has been named assistant vice president and loan operations manager at Old Harbor Bank in the Countryside area of Clearwater. She was commercial closing coordinator at Whitney National Bank, of Clearwater.
GLE Associates Inc., of Tampa, announces that Jenelle Chraft and Michael D. Elster have been named environmental scientists. Chraft was a laboratory technician for Warwick Sewer Authority in Rhode Island; and Elster is a recent graduate of Kennesaw State University.
