BASEBALL

Baseball camps

USF baseball coach Lelo Prado will offer day camps for youths ages 7-18 July 9-13 at Red McEwen Field. Two camps will be in Brandon at South Brandon Little League on July 16-20 and July 23-27. All of these camps will be in session from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. and will cost $180 for the week. On June 25-28 the Bulls will hold a camp for 13-18 year olds from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. This camp will also cost $180 for the week. Contact Greg Parris at Gregory.Parris@sdhc.k12.fl.us

Florida Panthers

The 12-under and 13-under competitive teams will hold tryouts for the fall season through June, July and August. For location and times, call Andy at 271-5249.

Seminole Heat

Azalea Little League

The league is offering weeklong camps on June 25-29 and July 30-Aug. 3 from 9 a.m.-2:30 p.m. The cost is $125. There are also hitting only camps on July 2-3 and 23-24 from 9 a.m.-noon for $50. Call Mike at 641-9890.

Tarpon Springs

The city's recreation department is offering summer camps on July 9-13 and July 30-Aug. 3. Call Steve Plummer at 943-4900 ext. 154.

Boca Ciega Tournament

There will be a 30-and-over tournament at Boca Ciega High School on July 14. The cost is $120 per team. Contact William White at whitew@pcsb.org.

FOOTBALL

East Lake

The East Lake Boosters are offering a camp for kids age 7-15 from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. on July 9-12. The camp is at East Lake High and will be run by the school's football coaches. For information, call 939-1855 or 942-7616.

Gibbs Junior Gladiators

The league will have registration for football and cheerleading ages 5-14 at the 31st Street Sports Complex. Dates are June 23 and July 7, 14 and 21 from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. call 822-5144 or 327-7867.

Police Athletic League

The league is offering a flag football camp from June 25-29 from 8 a.m.-noon at the SYAA Complex in Seminole. Go to www.pinellascountypal.com to register.

Shorecrest

Countryside Junior Cougars

City of Tarpon Springs

The city will hold a kung fu summer survivor camp from July 30-Aug. 3 at the Tarpon Springs Community Center. Call 942-5628 for information.

There will be summer basketball camps on July 9-13 and July 30-Aug. 3 at Tarpon Springs High School for kids ages 6-15. For information, call 421-9833.

City of Largo
