Work by Pasco County Artists will be at the Pasco Arts Council's art center, 5744 Moog Road, Holiday. Hours are 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Mondays through Saturdays. Free.
JUNE 30
Main Street Blast will be from 4 to 11 p.m. June 30 in downtown New Port Richey. The event includes the Miss Firecracker Pageant, Sunset Corvette Club Car Show, the Pup Strut dog contest in Cavalaire Square and the Cavalaire Square Beer Garden. The Classic Rock All Stars will perform at 8:30 p.m. A fireworks display will take off after dark at Orange Lake, weather and conditions permitting. Afterwards, the All Stars will resume playing until 10:30 p.m.
JULY 1
The Frankie Dee New York Orchestra will perform from 2 to 5 p.m. July 1 at the VFW Post 10209 at 15166 Spring Hill Drive, Spring Hill. Tickets are $9 and include a free drink and a chance at a door prize. For information and reservations, call Mary at (352) 596-9486. Another show is scheduled Aug. 5.
JULY 6
The Centennial Opera Group will present parts 5 and 6 on the continuing series of illustrated video lectures, "Viva Guiseppe, the Life and Operas of Verdi, " at 12:30 p.m. July 6 at Centennial Park Library, 5740 Moog Rd., Holiday. The parts are entitled "Nabucco, Conclusion and Risorgimento" and "I Lombardi, " followed by video clips of the operas. Free.
JULY 7
Jazz singer Suede, also known as "Diva la Difference", will perform at 8 p.m. July 7 at Bourbon Street Concert Club, 4331 U.S. 19, New Port Richey. Tickets are $25 at nprlibrary.org or by calling Ann at (727) 853-1265. Proceeds will benefit the Friends of NPR Library and the NPR Library's annual REEL Pride GLBT Film Fest, which is being held at 6:30 p.m. June 22 and 29.

Intermezzo Opera Festival of New York will present four full operas performed by students in training to become professionals at the Black Box Theatre on the Nature Coast Technical High School campus, 4057 California St., Brooksville. The operas are Falstaff (7:30 p.m. July 28 and 31 and 3 p.m. Aug. 3); The Magic Flute (3 p.m. July 29 and 7:30 p.m. Aug. 1 and 3); Albert Herring (7:30 p.m. July 27, 29 and Aug. 2); and Suor Angelica (3 p.m. July 28 and 7:30 p.m. July 30). Tickets are $15 adults, $10 students. Box office in the lobby of the theater will be open 2 to 4 p.m. July 2 and 3 and Mondays through Saturdays July 9-July 26 and one hour before each performance. Center Stage Theatre and Dance Academy Musical Theatre Summer Camp students will present Gone With the Breeze, a musical spoof of the casting frenzy that surrounded selecting the actors for the classic Gone With the Wind, at 7 p.m. Aug. 4 at the theater, 5201 U.S. 19, New Port Richey (Southgate Shopping Center). Singer-impressionist Rich Natole will perform at a dinner show at Aripeka Elks Lodge #2520, 9135 Denton Ave., Hudson, on Aug. 11. Dinner is at 6 p.m., show at 7:30 p.m. Natole's act includes impressions of Larry King, Jay Leno, Robert DeNiro, Joe Pesci and others. Tickets are $26, reservations required.
