There is a special election for Florida House of Representatives District 43 today. About 12, 000 Hernando County residents are eligible to vote, regardless of party affiliation. If you are not certain you are registered, or not sure if you reside in House District 43, call the Hernando Supervisor of Elections Office at 754-4125 or visit its Web site at www.hernandovotes.com. After studying the candidates and issues, the Times has recommended candidate Ron Schultz in this election.
