TAMPA - A Tampa man has been arrested after police said they found hundreds of images of child pornography on his computer, including graphic photos of a juvenile relative. Raymond H. Brooks, 45, of 4114 Dellbrook Drive, made an initial appearance Monday in U.S. District Court. He is charged with one count each of possession of child pornography and production of child pornography. According to a criminal complaint, a law enforcement officer tracked a known child pornography video file to the Internet address on Brooks' computer. The discovery prompted FBI agents to conduct a search of Brooks' home, where they found several hundred image and video files stored on the hard drive of his computer, the complaint said. Agents also found several pictures that resembled Brooks' relative at a younger age. The girl's mother confirmed the pictures were of her child. Brooks told officers he began viewing child pornography about 10 years ago and said he once had a photography business. Brooks is being held in the Hillsborough County jail system pending a detention hearing.
