TAMPA - Hillsborough sheriff's detectives are investigating the robberies of a Brandon credit union on Tuesday and a Carrollwood bank on Monday. Deputies say the MacDill Federal Credit Union at 1009 Providence Road was robbed shortly before 3 p.m. Tuesday. The robber was described as a white male wearing a black shirt with white writing on it, blue jeans and sunglasses. He was last seen running from the credit union. In Carrollwood, investigators said a man walked into the Wachovia bank at 13003 N Dale Mabry Highway about 4:30 p.m. and gave a teller a note demanding money. The teller gave him an undisclosed amount of cash and the man ran off.
