Hook's Sushi Bar & Thai Food, St. Petersburg Don't let the casual setting and the diners in flip-flops fool you. Popular chef Hook Atsavinh makes Thai salads with zing and inventive sushi that pricey Asian bistros can only dream of. The spicy tuna roll and one titled "First Love" with eel, cream cheese and avocado with salmon on top are particularly good. Indulge in the crab Rangoon, then get something from the huge and exceedingly fresh sushi menu. Hook's: 1210 Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. St. N, St. Petersburg, (727) 898-4665, www.hookssushi.com. How you voted Hook's Sushi Bar & Thai Food, St. Petersburg: 45% Other: 20% Samurai Blue, Ybor City/Oldsmar: 14% Yoko's Japanese Restaurant, Tampa: 11% Jo-To Japanese Restaurant, St. Petersburg: 7% Osaka Sushi Bar, Madiera Beach: 2%
