Grind for Life: Skatepark of Tampa presents the etnies' Box Lunch Carnival. For $1, patrons can enter skateboard competitions, participate in games and enjoy lunch. All proceeds go to Grind for Life, which provides financial assistance to cancer patients and their families. 2 to 5 p.m. Saturday; Skatepark of Tampa, 4215 E Columbus Drive, Tampa; free, but $1 for lunch. Health and Awareness: T.E.E.N. Summit Outreach hosts Calling All Ladies, a health symposium for girls and their parents. Discussion will focus on peer pressure and teenage struggles. Gift certificates and door prizes will be given away. Noon to 4 p.m. Saturday; Jimmie B. Keel Regional Library, 2902 W Bearss Ave., Tampa; registration is free, but seating is limited.
