CLEARWATER – If you missed out on seeing Broadway hits such as Hairspray, Spamalot, The Producers and Movin' Out during earlier bay area tours, you'll soon get another chance.
The St. Petersburg Times' 2007-08 Broadway season at Ruth Eckerd Hall includes those hits, plus Blast!, a brass, percussion and color guard spectacle, and Bermuda Avenue Triangle, an off-Broadway comedy by husband and wife team Renee Taylor and Joe Bologna that also stars Lainie Kazan.
Andrew Lloyd Webber's Cats, the classic Gypsy and Rent are all returning to Ruth Eckerd, and actor-comedian Martin Short performs his new one-man show.
Hall members may order tickets beginning in late July; sales to the general public begin at 10 a.m. Aug. 25. Visit the ticket office at 1111 McMullen-Booth Road in Clearwater, go to www.rutheckerdhall.com , or call (727) 791-7400.
