Volunteers needed at two state parks

Park staff at Honeymoon Island State Park and Caladesi Island State Park need volunteers to help with the day-to-day operations, equipment and grounds maintenance, administrative duties and special events. Work days and hours are flexible.

The program helps to dispel the most common safety myths and reminds families of the importance of keeping an up-to-date photo of their child. Use Guide to Giving directory to give back

The Girls Guide to Giving is a directory of nonprofit agencies throughout Pinellas County offering volunteer opportunities.

Groups of young women can participate in projects such as peer interaction, service learning and "how to" projects.
