Alcohol is prohibited at all county parks. Hours are dawn to dusk, unless otherwise noted. For information, call the Hernando County Recreation Department at 754-4031. To reserve fields or facilities, call 540-4333.
Alfred McKethan Park: (Pine Island), 3-acre park on the Gulf of Mexico at 10800 Pine Island Drive (off County Road 495 west of Weeki Wachee). Includes beach and swimming area, picnic tables, shelters, barbecue grills, observation point, volleyball court, playground and concession stand. Admission: $2/car.
Amity Trails: 8.4-acre play area at 14755 Coronado Drive, Spring Hill.
Anderson Snow Park: 50-acre park at 1360 Anderson Snow Road, Spring Hill. Includes baseball, softball and T-ball fields, concession building and playground.
Bayport Park: 4140 Cortez Blvd., 1.5-acre park on the Gulf of Mexico at the end of SR 50 W. Includes picnic tables, pavilions, barbecue grills, fishing pier and two boat ramps.
Delta Woods Park: 19.8-acre park at 3400 Deltona Blvd., Spring Hill. Includes gazebo, pavilion, picnic tables and shelters, barbecue grills, volleyball, tetherball, soccer fields, shuffleboard, tennis courts, handball courts, basketball courts, horseshoes, bocce ball courts, playground and an exercise trail. No swimming allowed. Open until 10 p.m.
Ernie Wever Youth Park: 113-acre park at 19445 Youth Drive, Brooksville. Includes baseball, football, soccer and multipurpose fields, picnic shelter/tables, grills, concession stands, playground, press box and recreation building.
