SPRING HILL
A Spring Hill man who allegedly robbed a Walgreens of prescription drugs has been arrested after being identified by a palm print left at the scene. Sheriff's reports say that Aaron Dodgens, 22, gave a note to a pharmacist at the store at 4255 Commercial Way on June 30 that read, "Be calm and quiet, I have a gun!" The note directed the pharmacist to put Roxicodone, OxyContin, Lortab, Xanax, Halcyon, Oxymorphone and Hydromorphone into a plastic bag. Reports state that Dodgens then left with about 120 pills. Investigators said that a palm print on the note matched up with a note used in a July 2 robbery in Citrus County in which Dodgens is a suspect. He also is suspected in three Pasco County pharmacy robberies. Dodgens is being held in the Hernando County Jail without bail on charges of armed robbery.
