A note to readers about obituary notices

Starting on the publication date of July 9, the St. Petersburg Times will offer free, seven-line obituary notices to our readers who have lost loved ones. They may choose to purchase additional lines. Family members also will be able to publish more personal information, a photo of their loved one, funeral service details and emblems to recognize affiliations. Obituaries will be published daily in the B section of the St. Petersburg Times and will appear on tampabay.com/obits for 30 days. An online guestbook will be included in all paid obituary notices.
