TARPON SPRINGS

Lanes of Tarpon Avenue will be temporarily closed Monday through July 13 while the Florida Department of Transportation's contractor for a major downtown road reconstruction project completes milling and paving work between Safford Huey avenues. Detours will be set up, but expect delays in both directions because traffic will be reduced to one lane at times. The best alternate east-west routes are Live Oak Street and Martin Luther King Drive.
