Tampa-Hillsborough Expressway Authority It's picking a new executive director. The public is invited to a meet-and-greet with five finalists. 6:30-8:30 tonight, Tampa Museum of Art, 600 N Ashley Drive. Hors d'oeuvres and cash bar. RSVP requested, (813) 272-6740. Hillsborough's toll road agency has had a lot of problems in the last year, but it still wants to build more roads.
Dunedin City commission will discuss whittling city budget due to the state mandate to lower property taxes. A trio of meetings at City Hall, 542 Main St. Tuesday and Wednesday at 6:30 p.m., Friday at 9:30 a.m. Proposed cuts include nine city jobs and money for nonprofits and special events. Also on the table: The size of the property tax cut.
St. Petersburg City Council budget workshop. 1 p.m. Tuesday, City Hall Room 100 Potential budget cuts will be explored.

Whittling city budget? Are you serious? They better take a recently sharpened ax to it and not leave any fat on skeleton of that bloated city government!

Get rid of the advertisements in the center of the screen...you cant turn them off and you cant read the article underneath them.
