Girl volunteers can earn service hours

LUTZ The GFWC Little Women of Lutz will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday at Nye Park, 630 Sunset Lane in Lutz. This organization is for girls between the ages of 12 and 18 who work to help meet the needs of their community. Community service hours for high school graduation may be earned through this program. WESLEY CHAPEL Raw food subject of cooking class Cooking classes for adults and children are offered at Ginger Fitness and Rehabilitation, Summergate in Seven Oaks, 27533 Cashford Circle in Wesley Chapel. A class called "Rawsome," a raw food culinary class, is set from 1 to 3 p.m. or from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. July 24 and a class called "Kids in the Kitchen," for children 8-12, is scheduled from 1 to 3 p.m. or from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. on July 26. Free expo features activities for kids A "Community Expo and Fun 4 Kids Day" are from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. July 22 at Sports on Field, 2029 Arrowgrass Drive, Wesley Chapel (off State Road 56). This free event is presented by the Meadow Pointe Entrepreneurs Club.
