July Thrift Store Sale: The Christmas in July Sale continues at the Gulfside Regional Hospice Thrift Shoppes. Find great bargain prices. The two thrift stores are located at Universal Plaza U.S. 19 and Moog Road, New Port Richey and Bayonet Point Plaza, 12154 U.S. 19, Hudson. This event is in its fifth year.
Raffle for Bucs season tickets: The Larry Tawney Memorial VFW Post 4412 has announced a raffle for two Tampa Bay Buccaneers season tickets with an Aug. 4 drawing at the post, 13129 Colony Road, Hudson. Winners need not be present for drawing. Only 200 raffle tickets are available. Ticket donation is $20. For information or tickets, call the post at (727) 856-0051.
New volunteer orientation: A two-part orientation has been scheduled from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Tuesday and July 19 at the Hernando-Pasco Hospice Marliere Care Center at 6801 Rowan Road in New Port Richey. Thrift Store Volunteer Training: New volunteers for Gulfside Regional Hospice are invited to attend a training from 1:30 to 4:30 p.m. Wednesday at 6117 Trouble Creek Road, New Port Richey. There are two thrift stores: one in the Universal Plaza at U.S. 19 and Moog Road in New Port Richey, and another at Bayonet Point Plaza at 12154 U.S. 19 in Hudson. Dinner/Dance: The Polish American Social Club, 7615 New Jersey Ave., Hudson will hold a dinner/dance on July 22. Doors open at 12:15 p.m. Dinner will be served from 12:30 to 2 p.m. Dancing to the Music Blenders will be from 2:30 to 5:30 p.m. Tickets: Members $11, Non-Members: $12.
