Causeway span to stay lowered for triathlon

To help traffic flow and ensure the safety of participants in the Morton Plant Mease Triathlon, the Belleair Causeway Bridge will remain lowered from 7:15 a.m. to 9 a.m. Sunday. Recreational boating or other vessels that require the raising of the bridge will be affected during this time.

Latin, Brit accents needed for plays

Local thespians, look out. Two plays are holding auditions at 7 p.m. Sunday and Monday.

- Five women ages 25 to 60 and two men ages 30 to 50 with Latin accents are needed for a female version of The Odd Couple. Auditions are at Francis Wilson Playhouse, 302 Seminole St. Call 453-7200.
