Dade City
Church of God in Christ, 14626 Seventh St., will host the annual Dade City District Convention Monday through Friday. The convention begins at 7:30 p.m. Monday with a musical. Tuesday through Friday the schedule is: Continental breakfast is 9 to 9:30 a.m., prayer is 9:30 to 10 a.m. and from 10 a.m. to noon are activities for all ages. Lunch is at 12:30 p.m. Each evening there will be singing and preaching at 7:30. Dinner will be served after the Friday evening service. Call 813 996-4168.

The Beauty for Ashes Women's Group of Covenant Christian Church is hosting a Mom's Day Out from 10 a.m. to noon July 21. Wesley Chapel
Wesley Chapel Church of the Nazarene, 34106 State Road 54, presents Vacation Bible School July 23-29. The program is centered on Wesley's Reef, an adventure that will continue on a weekly basis at 10:30 Sunday mornings. Children will meet the captain of a sunken shrimp boat, Captain Candoo, and his sidekick pelican friend. On the final day of the program, there will be a field trip to the Gulf of Mexico and a visit the Pier and the aquarium in St. Petersburg.
