By TIMES WIRES
Published July 18, 2007
PINELLAS PARK An informal celebration to commemorate the life of Tom Reese, founder of Beaux Arts, will be at 7:30 p.m. Thursday on the former grounds of the original coffeehouse and gallery, 7711 60th St. N. Join the celebration even if you didn't make it to Beaux Arts before its founder and director passed away last year. Old friends say he'd have wanted new voices, new music, new poetry and new friends to be embraced in his honor, on the grounds where his legacy began. If you come, please bring your own chairs or blankets for seating, and bring something cold nonalcoholic to drink. And don't forget the mosquito repellent. Thursday marks what would've been Reese's 90th birthday. ST.
