ST. PETERSBURG North Shore Park pool update will add slide, more The City of St. Petersburg is updating North Shore Park with a new child-friendly pool. The 30- to 40-foot sloped pool will include water cannons, water buckets that tip over and a multiflume slide. An estimated $54,000 from the city's recreation fund has been earmarked to pay for construction, which should be completed by October, city officials said. The pool will be open year-round.
