Turnpike contractors gathering data
Contractors with Florida's Turnpike Enterprise are conducting field activities in Hernando and Citrus counties associated with the Suncoast Parkway 2 Project in Citrus County.
As part of the data-gathering process, engineers, surveyors, planners and environmental scientists are performing research, inspections and surveys. The work is being done by Dyer, Riddle, Mills and Precourt Inc., Bowyer Singleton and Associates and Reynolds, Smith and Hills, along with those organizations' consultants.
The fieldwork is expected to continue for at least a year. During this time, access to public or private properties might be required. For information, call (813) 558-1117.
BROOKSVILLE
Pine Grove school will take registrations
Pine Grove Elementary School is accepting registrations for new students for the 2007-08 school year from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. weekdays. Appointments are preferred, but walk-ins are welcome.
Registration requirements include birth certificate, Social Security card, proof of residency (utility bill, lease, mortgage papers, etc.), immunization records and health physical dated after Aug. 20, 2006. The school is at 14411 Ken Austin Parkway.
