Intermezzo Opera Festival of New York will present four full operas performed by students in training to become professionals at the Black Box Theatre on the Nature Coast Technical High School campus, 4057 California St., Brooksville. Progress Energy Art Gallery will hold an artist's reception from 6 to 9 p.m. Aug. 3 at the gallery, 6231 Grand Blvd., New Port Richey. The honoree is abstract artist Martha Marshall.
