MOON LAKE A two-car collision at Catalona Avenue and Lake Drive knocked out power to about 600 customers Wednesday afternoon and evening, said David Lambert, manager of member relations for Withlacoochee River Electric Cooperative. A wooden utility pole was broken in the crash about 4:30 p.m., and it took more than five hours for workers to fix the problem. "This was a completely unpredictable outage," resident Renee Groening said in an e-mail. "The food I was cooking for dinner was ruined and if the outage had lasted a little longer we would have lost everything in our freezer and fridge." Correction At its next meeting Aug. 14, the Port Richey City Council wants City Manager Jerry Calhoun to present three new budget proposals with 30, 20 and 10 percent cuts to the city's spending. An article in Thursday's Pasco Times incorrectly described the proposed cuts.
