By TIMES STAFF
Published July 29, 2007
Authorities rushed Saturday night to a boating accident at 9338 Old Gibsonton Drive in eastern Hillsborough County. Officials said a boat on the Alafia River hit a pylon of Interstate 75 about 9:45 p.m. The accident left two injured people in the water. Part of I-75 was temporarily shut down so a rescue helicopter could take one of the injured boaters to a hospital. The other victim was transported by ambulance. Officials from the Hillsborough Sheriff's Office, county Fire Rescue and Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission worked the case.

Amazing how incorrect the above article is. Where do folks obtain your information? Obviously it is made up or heresay. Guess it would have been better for whoever wrote the story to actually have been there.

Don and Diane. Not only are you ignorant but I suggest you talk to the people involved versus believing the misinformation presented in the media. Obviously, you both lack character and critical thinking skills. Just like the media and press.
